ClawDesk

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

These terms cover use of ClawDesk's systems — phone answering, pricing, lead follow-up, client reactivation, review requests, and note-taking — by independent veterinary clinics ("Clinics") and communication received from those systems by a Clinic's clients ("Clients"). By engaging ClawDesk or by communicating with a system ClawDesk operates on a Clinic's behalf, you agree to these terms.

What ClawDesk provides

ClawDesk builds, configures, and maintains automated systems on behalf of a Clinic, using that Clinic's own pricing, scheduling rules, and information. These systems can answer calls, give price estimates, book appointments, follow up with leads and lapsed clients by SMS, request reviews, and draft clinical notes for veterinarian review. Nothing generated by these systems constitutes medical advice or a diagnosis; anything clinical is referred to the Clinic's own staff.

Messaging consent

A Clinic's clients receive SMS messages because they have an existing relationship with that Clinic. Consent to receive messages can be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency depends on the type of communication (a single confirmation, a short reminder sequence, or an occasional check-in). Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Accuracy and review

Price estimates are calculated from information the Clinic supplies and the details given at the time; additional cost found during an in-person exam is quoted separately by the Clinic. Draft clinical notes are generated from what was actually said and must be reviewed and approved by a licensed veterinarian before they become part of a patient's record. ClawDesk is not responsible for decisions made without that review.

Clinic responsibilities

A Clinic is responsible for the accuracy of the pricing, hours, and policies it provides to ClawDesk, and for holding any licenses required to operate its practice. A Clinic may pause any system at any time; doing so does not cancel any separate service agreement in place between the Clinic and ClawDesk.

Limitation of liability

ClawDesk's systems are provided on a best-efforts basis. To the extent permitted by law, ClawDesk is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from their use. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version always applies. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
